Meet Eva
NUTRITION THERAPY WITH A REGISTERED DIETITIAN NUTRITIONIST
FOR EATING DISORDERS, DISORDERED EATING & BODY IMAGE SUPPORT
IN PENNSYLVANIA

Hi there! My name is Eva Haldis!
I’m the Founder and Director of Reclaim Nutrition, and I’m a Registered Dietitian, who is passionate about helping people heal their relationship to food.
Some fun facts about me: I’m a mom, I love to eat, I love working with people and I love to throw axes in a league (which I used to do before becoming said-mom!) Before I was able to live as my truest self (who gets to be a food loving, axe throwing mama to a toddler!) I was too consumed with food and dieting to ever have room to do anything else. It wasn’t until I healed my relationship to food that the world opened up around me.
It’s why I am so passionate about helping people stop dieting and start living!
I help women who are struggling with feeling out of control around eating and who have poor body image heal their relationship to food so they can be free from diets for good.
I believe in providing compassionate care to clients through a Weight Inclusive approach, utilizing the principles of Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size ® (HAES).
*Eva’s schedule is currently full, and she is not accepting new clients at this time.*
Recovery is possible. Recovery is worth it.
Eva's Counseling Style & Approach
I often tell our clients, “it’s about the food and it’s not about the food” – in our work together, we’ll, of course, talk about food but we will also spend a lot of time talking about your feelings around food, your body, and how they all intersect.
My clients know my favorite phrase is “compassionate curiosity” – at the core, I find compassion to be one of the most important pieces of our work together. In learning to find compassion within yourself, it’ll allow you to understand better why you are struggling and how to find ways to soothe and take care of yourself.
In addition, it is important to me to utilize affirming and inclusive practices that are rooted in social justice. I utilize an intersectional approach while also pulling from various approaches, principles, and ideas such as Intuitive Eating and Health At Every Size ®.
Lastly, I use a lot of analogies becuase apparently, that’s how my brain works – so if your brain does too I think we might be a good fit! 😊

More About Eva (aka Fun Facts!)
Here are three fun facts!
- My son’s name was inspired by my favorite band, The Avett Brothers, who I’ve seen in concert a total of 10 times since 2013. My husband has gone to 9/10 of those with me and now we will never be even because there would never be a situation where I wouldn’t go with him to see them!
- I also love to cook and host for family and friends!
- Lastly, I would consider myself an *indoorsy* person but now that I have a toddler, I spend most of the summer outside with him!
